But when it comes to agents that can plan, act, and adapt, a broader set of architectures is stepping into the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are just a few that are defining the next phase:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Language Action Models (LAMs)<\/strong> focus on intent recognition, short- and long-term memory, and task planning across multiple steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mixture of Experts (MoEs)<\/strong> route each task to specialized model clusters, enabling performance at scale without ballooning compute costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vision-Language Models (VLMs)<\/strong> combine image and text understanding, enabling multimodal reasoning in agents that work across formats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Small Language Models (SLMs)<\/strong> offer leaner, faster inference for edge devices or latency-sensitive applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Segment Anything Models (SAMs)<\/strong> specialize in pixel-level segmentation, powering precise visual search and analysis tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is more than just alphabet soup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These models reflect a real shift \u2014 away from one-model-fits-all thinking and toward composable AI systems tailored to the job at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Architecting for the Real World<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At EasyBee AI, we are building agents for mid-sized companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means we are not just chasing capabilities.
